How often do we stop to capture the beauty of nature…to embrace and intentionally seek to discover the awesomeness and wonders of what lies within!
On my last visit to Georgia, while taking my morning walk I was lead to focus on the small seemingly unimportant things of nature.
As I journeyed, the following aspects of the Universe drew me in and I was able to see how each correlated with some very relevant matters of life…and there was a message within! I took notice of three spider webs strategically located in the same tree. It came to mind, we all have a designated space in the same place. Therefore, wherever you are shouldn’t hinder me in mine, nor should mine hinder you! If we all embrace our space and focus on completing our divine purpose for being there and join together in unity…certainly the end results will benefit us all…as a strong secure force! But also, I was reminded of the Ethiopian Proverb: When spider webs unite they can tie up a lion! Even after the rain the spider webs were in place and still with a distinct presence…My thoughts…although alone you maybe limited, but united together strongholds can be defeated, overcome and conquered…therefore, “no one has it although, but together we can have it all”!
I then came upon the beginning of a house being built! There were just the small seemingly easy to break pieces of wood, also strategically placed outlining the foundational structure layout of the house! Yes, although when we see these pieces of wood alone…not knowing their purpose and how they are to be use; one would think and say, these pieces of wood are not strong enough to build a house and count them out! The lesson here: never count anything nor anyone out without seeking to discover their what and why! They too have been created, called, chosen, selected…and have a divine charge for the completion of the whole project! We all have a purpose and are to fulfill it!
As I continued my journey…I was taken in by the clay and marble rocks! I gathered some clay in one hand and some rocks in the other…and my thoughts were…we all came from the substance of small beginnings…from seemingly nothingness! But from out of the nothingness of the earth God formed him and from a piece of him, he created her! Also from the clay came pyramids and mountains; and from the rocks pathways were built for the crossing over to freedom and victory…to get from one place to the other! Even if you were born with a silver plate and spoon…just remember someone’s beginning came from the marrie clay and pit of rocks…yes, there were humble beginnings to it all! Someone came from nothing and went through a whole lot of somethings for us to be and have today!
In tarrying on, there were some single flower blooms in the abundance of weeds…but their beautiful stillness appeared and was very noticeable even in all the surrounding weeds…they stood out and could be seen! I say to this…boldly take your place and stand! You will still be noticed at the appointed time by the right person/people! Sometimes we have to endure where we are seemingly being unnoticed…until our time comes!
Finally, at the beginning of my walk I was lead to record the movement of my feet…moving one at a time…right then left…left then right…as I walked and then record the surrounding area before heading back in! From this the message was; we shouldn’t just jump in any situation all at once! There’s a process to everything in life…one step at a time…not allowing one foot to hinder the other or move too fast…always being conscious of your surroundings and taking a good look of the big picture and to always keep in mind there are many pieces to complete and fulfill your purpose!
I leave you with this thought…often we see a place and immediately, we want to take a selfie picture, I charge you the next time you find yourself in this space…before taking that picture, take the time to discover the beauty of the things seemingly unimportant and I guarantee…amazing wonders will be captured and within, there will be discovered unimaginable analogies and many revelations revealed! Embrace and enjoy the process…after the first encounter, you will forever walk through life awakened and seeking to discover…!
