Do you know your purpose for living? If you don’t know, have you ever taken time to pause in this rat race to discover your why? Are you going nowhere fast? Regardless of our present status in life, we can’t afford to be shortsighted, focusing on material possessions alone. We are to always aim to be in a place of richness when it comes to self awareness and love, balance, joy, and peace! And when it comes to knowing our why, our purpose as to what our divine contribution to the world is…we can’t take for granted and must be certain not to forfeit it. When we daily seek the presence of God or whatever higher source you believe in…we will gain clarity and understanding…the more we seek to be in oneness with our Source, the more we become fully aware of our why and our divine purpose and will desire to walk in it! It’s amazing how all things come together in due season when we tap into our why! Otherwise, we end up like the so many, too busy to take time to discover why they’re here and often become too lost to discover or know where they’re going. How and what do we do to stay connected on this journey and daily process of becoming and discovery? We approach and start each new day with expectancy of things to be the way we desire them to be! Create a purpose statement. Design an IEP (Individual Empowerment Plan) and speak like into every situation…even the seemingly dead ones. I’m reminded of a life-changing experience, I will never forget. I received new life to carry me through a dark time and still carrying me to this day…empowering me to speak life into seemingly dead situations!
An elderly dying lady that I shared a hospital room with at the age of 15, stopped me from throwing out flowers that were dead to me! When I asked the nurse to discard them, she said to me: “baby, don’t throw them away...the life I see in them is still beautiful to me...please give them to me”! I cried and she cried as I granted her heart’s desire. Ever since that encounter, I see the beauty in seemingly dead flowers and I look for and speak life in seemingly dead situations because of this encounter!
To help remind me to speak life into seemingly dead places, I collect flowers and take them through the drying out and preservation process and place them in a vase or use for other meaningful purposes! In these seemingly dead flowers…there is life…a purpose…there’s still beauty in them even in this state! This process along with journaling, meditation and prayer…equips me to stay balance, connected, and in oneness with my God…embracing my daily journey of becoming…evolving and forever discovering my why and walking in it and fulfilling my divine purpose in life and living in abundance…with joy, love and peace!
Please always remember, even being in this beautiful place and state of being and living a golden life…doesn’t mean life will be dent-free, pain-free, nor scratch-free! Nevertheless, when life dents, pains, and scratches do occur and they will…being connected and in tune with oneness…you're fully equipped to speak life in every seemingly dead situation. Look deep beyond the flaws, heartache and pain to see the beauty that still lives within and be empowered to carry on…! We mustn’t get caught up in the material…the physical, caught up in folk, stuff and things…we must always be in tune with our Spiritual Being…our Oneness and Divine purpose…and come what may, what is divinely meant to be…will be! Just stay focused, connected, tapped in and continue to plan the work and work the plan as we daily evolve on our journey of becoming…knowing our why and speaking life..so it shall be and so it is!
And now, I speak life, abundance, beauty, balance, comfort, favor, goodness, happiness, healing, joy, love, miracles, peace, power and prosperity...I speak life into every seemingly dead situation and may the favor of the Creator of Life be upon your every endeavor…guiding, protecting and providing forevermore...I speak life...!
